Pick up from your hotel in Beijing at about 8:00am. Transfer to Mutianyu Great Wall. Mutianyu Great Wall has much more watchtowers than normal Great Wall. Altogether, you will find 22 watchtowers on this 1.4 mile stretch of Wall. Fortifications were as well constructed over the both sides of the Great Wall. It also has inner and out barriers that are crenelated with merlons. This was so shots could be fired at attackers on both sides - an extremely unique and fascinating characteristic of the Great Wall, which presents the strategic military value.
After then, transfer to Beijing Huaibei International Ski Resort, which was built in the year 2000 and opened to the public on January, 2001, is one of the earliest ski resorts in Beijing and a relatively large ski resort boasting topflight ski runs, amazing natural scenery and complete facilities of a variety. Embraced by the Great Wall, Huaibei International Ski Resort boasts picturesque natural scenery.
