Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square and Beijing Hutong Private Day Tour

Our guide and driver will pick you up from the hotel lobby at 8:00am. Transfer to the Tiananmen Square, the largest public square in the world. You will spend approximately 30 minutes to walk around. Then pass straightaway into the Forbidden City. The Forbidden City, also famed as the Palace Museum, is the largest and most considerably preserved ancient imperial residence in China nowadays. You will visit the Forbidden City from south to north through the central axis for 2 hours.

After lunch, transfer to Beijing Hutong area. Visit the Beijing Old Hutong. Hutongs are actually the narrow streets and alleys. The word "Hutong" is a Mongolian word, which means the "water well". Now the word "Hutong" is used to refer to the neighbourhoods. With the fast development of the city, many hutong have been demolished to make way for building high rises. Without these hutong, the memory of the traditional life and culture in Beijing will disappear.

You will also have a chance to visit a tea shop for 45 minutes.

Last, transfer you back to the hotel.
